Some of the conditions we treat at The Kochan Pain Treatment Center
The list of painful conditions is virtually endless. The following is a partial list, organized by body part, of conditions which Dr. Kochan has successfully treated.
Head
TMJ, which can be exacerbated by neck problems including arthritis or nerve irritation. Headaches, which can be caused by neck problems, upper cervical arthritis, or neck muscle strain can be treated with Botox, prolotherapy, or nerve hydrodissection.
Neck
Arthritis. Disk pain, facet joint pain. Nerve pain with referral to the upper back or arm. Weakness and/or numbness of the arms or hands. Pain in the neck with neck motion. Often successfully treated with prolotherapy, PRP, combined with hydrodissection.
Shoulders
Rotator cuff tears, strains, pain, and other tendinitis. Arthritis of the shoulder joint or AC joint. Instability of the shoulder or AC joints. All these conditions can often be treated with prolotherapy and PRP, rather than surgery.
Arms
Tennis elbow, golfers elbow, wrist and finger tendinitis often respond to prolotherapy. Nerve injury or compression of the ulnar, median, and radial nerves can respond to hydrodissection. Elbow, wrist, finger, and thumb arthritis can be helped with prolotherapy. Numbness of the arms or hands can be due to compression of the nerves in the neck or arms. Carpal tunnel and cubital tunnel syndrome respond well to a combination of prolotherapy and hydrodissection.
